We've never met before, but you've probably heard of me.
Just like I've heard of you.
Both of us are in a similar line of work……keeping paranormal/supernatural artifacts from getting into the "wrong hands", and keeping people safe from paranormal/supernatural phenomena. The difference between us? You people-ALL of you-have damn-near infinite resources, government funding and pretty much anything and everything else you need to keep this going until the sun burns out and this ball of dust we call Earth is nothing more than a dead sphere in a dead sky.
Me……I'm just one man.
I'm not a "superhero", or a "crimefighter". Just because I wear a mask and a "unique outfit", it doesn't mean I'm in this for "Truth, Justice and the American Way" or anything along those lines. I do this because I have to.
I do this because my hands used to be the "wrong hands".
I've seen your work, and I'm pretty sure you've seen mine—-that incident in [DATA EXPUNGED], with the Tusked Horror, wasn't my first rodeo, and I know for a fact that it wasn't yours either. I left before any of your people could "ask me a few questions", as is your SOP……and to be honest, that was probably a dumb move on my part.
To put it simply, I'm really starting to see the benefits of working with a team.
