Special Containment Procedures: The artifacts composing SCP-XXXX are to be kept in a high security laboratory in the research section of Site-XX unless being used in approved testing or information gathering operations. Access to the laboratory is restricted to personnel with 3/XXXX clearance. No personnel without 2/XXXX clearance or above are to be aware of SCP-XXXX's existence or function.
Personnel engaged in field operations with SCP-XXXX artifacts must have 2/XXXX clearance. All field operations involving SCP-XXXX artifacts must be accompanied by a security team.
Any personnel transferred out of the SCP-XXXX project are to be administered Class B amnesiacs. Unauthorized personnel who possess information about SCP-XXXX are to be administered Class B amnesiacs or terminated at the discretion of the O5 council.
MTF Lambda-1 (aka "cool MTF nickname goes here") is currently assigned to monitor research at major universities as well as grant proposals and scientific journals and suppress any research that may lead to independent discovery of SCP-XXXX.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collection of electronic devices, laboratory equipment and documents recovered from a Prometheus Labs research facility located outside ███████, ██. as well as an associated facility located in ███████, ██. These facilities came to the foundation's attention as a result of an outbreak of a memetic agent believed to have been encountered as a result of SCP-XXXX (See SCP-YYYY for details)
SCP-XXXX utilizes previously unknown technology which permits electromagnetic radiation to be sent and received from alternate universes. Although this technology is not currently completely understood, enough is known to produce new instances of SCP-XXXX.
Documents recovered with SCP-XXXX indicate that Prometheus Labs was utilizing SCP-XXXX to acquire information from alternate universes. Areas of focus appear to have been advances in science and engineering.

| SCP-XXXX-1a through 1e | USB WiFi adapters modified with SCP-XXXX technology. Due to the bulk of the additional components and the need for an internal battery these devices have been installed in generic external hard drive cases. Built in flash memory contains drivers for most known and many unknown operating systems. Accessing the administration screen for these devices gives all standard options for a WiFi adapter, as well as a setting labeled Universe. Outline of why an alternate earth could be a source of HETs. Adresses points from "To What Purpose an Invasion?" by Flah and "Lessons from History" by catboy637
1) Compatible Biochemisty - Humans or another intelligent species (SCP-1000?) that evolved on a parallel earth would be able to survive on our earth without terraforming. Also humans or similar species would be able to use our own medical technology to deal with native diseases.
2) Subjagation - Humans could be take back to the invaders' home dimension and used as labor without any special life support requirements. Or our earth could be turned into a resource/manufacturing colony. This does not neccecarily mean military conquest. Infiltration or political/economic means are possibilities.
3) Low Cost Transport - SCP-XXXX when combined with an Einstein-Rosen Bridge provides an energy efficent means of transport to and from a paralell earth
4) Motive - History shows that humans are not adverse to conquest. In the case of SCP-1000 they would have a very good reason to be hostile to humans. In the case of humans the invaders might ally with their counterparts on our earth (world where the USSR won the cold war might ally with Russia. Technologicaly advanced Mayan empire might ally with Mayan decendants)

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX, due to its unique requirements for containment, is currently located at Area-██ in the Southwestern United States. Radiological materials produced as a by-product of containment are to be transferred to Site-XX for use in manufacture of Site Containment Modules.
Description: SCP-XXXX was brought to the attention of the Foundation by operatives embedded in the Manhattan Project. Constructed partially out of nuclear material captured from German submarine U-234.
