Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to its nature, SCP-XXX cannot be contained by any means currently available to the Foundation. Current containment procedures will focus on maintaining the general population's ignorance of the object, and the suppression of any material pertaining to SCP-XXX. All known terrestrial observatories capable of viewing the object shall be regularly monitored for any activity which may indicate discovery of SCP-XXX. With the cooperation of the various space agencies all know space telescopes will be electronically monitored and prevented from being placed in an orientation that may lead to the direct viewing of SCP-XXX.
Description: SCP-XXX appears to be a vast, planetoid-like organism indigenous to space. It is at current estimates approximately 1800 km in diameter, with a mass of 5.23 x 10^23 kg. SCP-XXX orbits the sun at a distance of ███.█ AU, in an irregular heliosynchronous orbit perpendicular to the plane of the elliptic, with an orbital period lasting ███ years. Its highly unusual speed and orbit was what brought it to the attention of the Foundation in 19██, distinguishing it as an object who's formation could not be explained by the nebular hypothesis theory of the formation of the solar system. Subsequent spectrographic and ████████ █████ analysis revealed the surface of the object to be composed of 53% carbon, 3% phosphorous, 5% oxygen and [DATA EXPUNGED] essentially being visually similar to bone.

Document XXX-14: On ██/██/19██ was observed to deviate from its orbit towards (15874) 1996 TL66, a trans-Neptunian object. How this was accomplished is currently not understood. SCP-XXX proceeded to shift █ separate sections of its topography, each over ██ km across, revealing barbed structures similar to the nematocysts of various Cnidaria species. SCP-XXX then attached itself to Makemake and proceeded to [DATA EXPUNGED] then return to its previous orbit. It is noted that SCP-XXX increased in mass by █%.
Addendum XXX-2: Personnel with Security Clearance Level 3 or above should see document XXX-19
Document XXX-19: On ██/██/1994 SCP-XXX shifted a section of its topography ██ km across revealing what appeared to be a ██████ ██████. The object, designated SCP-XXX-1, launched from this aperture traveled at ███ km/s on an intercept trajectory with Jupiter before slowing to 60 km/s. Before impact it fragmented into 21 separate pieces before finally impacting on 07/16/1994. This event received world wide media coverage despite the Foundation's attempts at maintaining containment procedures. Fortunately the Foundation was able to cover up this incident as an impact of a comet know as Shoemaker-Levy 9.
