SCP-XXXX, prior to initial capture.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently housed at Sector-19. SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a locked cubic container constructed from silicone rubber, measuring 5m on each side. No physical contact with SCP-XXXX is permitted. Personnel assigned to SCP-XXXX are required to wear specialised electrical-insulation Hazmat suits upon entry to SCP-XXXX's containment chamber, in case of accidental contact.

Description: SCP-XXXX appears to be a humanoid embodiment of analog television static, measuring approximately 1.46 metres tall. Entity appears to be composed entirely from light waves and static electricity, the sources of which are unknown. SCP-XXXX is animate, and body language resembles that of a young male, roughly 10 years of age. Though incapable of communication, SCP-XXXX is able to acknowledge and understand personnel around it, and currently seems to be aware of its containment cell. SCP-XXXX is not known to require any sustenance. A faint hissing, identical to that of electromagnetic white noise, can be heard when within a range of 3 metres from the entity.

Upon physical contact with any live organism or electrical conductor, SCP-XXXX has been observed to involuntarily release a discharge of approximately 165 amperes (A), posing a substantial threat. SCP-XXXX most commonly spends its time in a fetal position, but when active, has been observed to walk, run, stretch, wave, and "reach out" to personnel within its containment chamber. However, SCP-XXXX will never attempt to make physical contact with said personnel, as it seems to acknowledge its capabilities.

SCP-XXXX was discovered on ██/██/████, after it emerged from the water closest to ████ Beach, █████, resulting in ██ civilian casualties. All eyewitnesses were granted Class C amnestics following initial capture. Investigations regarding SCP-XXXX's origin are currently underway. The origin of SCP-XXXX is as of yet unknown.

Addendum: On ██/██/████, an interview with SCP-XXXX was conducted by Dr. █████, following the discovery that it could understand human speech, but not verbally respond to it. An interview log was recorded and is included below:
