SCP-XXXX as it appears photographed through a mirror.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a small 9x7cm envelope in Site ██ storage. Any personnel with clearance level 2 or higher can access and interact with it. No line of sight to SCP-XXXX is permitted whilst in contact with it, or whilst intoxicated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small 7x5cm photograph, most likely from an "Instant Photo Print" camera, with the words "Mein Liebling" (Translated "My Dear" from German) printed on the bottom of the frame. Contents of the actual photographic image are currently unknown.

If any sentient being has a direct line of sight to SCP-XXXX, it will appear, to them, as a picture of a recently lost item or deceased relative, whether it be family, a lover, a physical possession, or anything else. Subjects viewing SCP-XXXX with the use of a reflection or refraction of light will result in the photograph, hence-forth referred to as SCP-XXXX-A, to be transparent, however the frame, here-on referred to as SCP-XXXX-B, is perfectly visible. SCP-XXXX-A, when photographed is unable to be seen, however if photographed through a mirror or prism, it has an appearance similar to frosted glass.

Tests reveal that if SCP-XXXX-A is in the eyesight of a subject whilst they are in physical contact with it will result in a variety of results (See Interview 1), and if SCP-XXXX-A is in the eyesight of a subject whilst the subject is intoxicated, it will result in a vivid hallucinations and/or mental breakdowns. (See Interview 2)

(19/7/██) Addendum-A : Any subjects are to be tested for alcohol before coming into any contact with SCP-XXXX. Positive results will most likely not occur, as this was a rather rare security breach.

(21/7/██) Addendum-B : Further investigation into the location of D-129083473 is required. Any sightings or suspicious behaviour must be reported to Dr. ██████.
A short note was found in D-129083473's cell. See "Note-A"
