SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained at Sector 07 for future research. SCP-XXXX is to be placed in a 10m x 10m metal container with a trough on the side of the container for feeding. Twice a day SCP-XXXX's container is to be cleaned, and SCP-XXXX is be fed by a D-Class personnel. Failure to do so, will result in a immediate reprimand, and a swift punishment. SCP-XXXX does not require a guard directly on hand, but it is to be placed under constant surveillance by an auxiliary staff member.

If research is slated to be done on SCP-XXXX, all personnel participating must receive direct permission from a Level 4 personnel or higher. If dissection is the goal, then SCP-XXXX must be given a Class A amnesiac, and tied down before the operation. After dissection SCP-XXXX must not be disturbed, if any personnel disobeys this direct order, they must be transferred immediately.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a male virginianus deer. It weighs an abnormal ███kg and stands at ██cm from the shoulder. The total length of SCP-XXXX from nose to tail is just over ██cm, and it has surpassed the expected lifetime of a white-tailed dear at ██ years.

SCP-XXXX seems to have an abnormal healing rate. While it can heal itself, the end result does not function as well as it did before. This is evident on SCP-XXXX because at one time or another the subject broke its right hind leg, and it never healed properly. Also, SCP-XXXX remains docile, and does not seem to be aware that it is in a cage. SCP-XXXX is not smart animal, but many researchers agree, that its healing capabilities has kept it alive this long.

SCP-XXXX was recovered shortly after Agent ██████, and a few of his colleagues went hunting at [REDACTED]. During the hunt they encountered and brought down SCP-XXXX. They then took pictures with it (as shown above), gutted it, and took it back to the [REDACTED] where they were staying at. Later in the night, Agent ██████ heard sounds coming from the garage, see Interview XXXX-A for more details.

Interviewed: Agent ██████:
Interviewer: Dr.██████

Foreword: Dr.██████ was instructed to debrief Agent ██████ about the incident concerning SPC-XXXX.

<Begin Log>

Dr. ██████: State your full name for the record.

Agent ██████: My full name is ████████████

Dr. ██████: Tell me, what were you doing in the ██████ forest on the morning of █/█/2███?

Agent ██████: A few of my buddies and I were hunting. We were trying to relax from the stress of work, I'm sure you know what I mean Doc.

Dr. ██████: How did you encounter SCP-XXXX?

Agent ██████ (sigh) We'd been hunting for hours, and we were about to give up and try again the next day, when I turned around and spotted it.

Dr. ██████: Can you elaborate?

Agent ██████: The thing was massive! It was the Biggest white-tail I've ever seen. I took aim, and nailed it. Doc, I have to tell you that when you kill something like that, it's the best feeling in the world. Doc, you have to come hunting with me some time.

Doctor ██████: Agent, We are focusing on SCP-XXXX, not on our personal lives. Now what happened next?

Agent ██████: Well, we gutted it, and you know, did that sort of thing. We then loaded it into the truck and took it back to the lodge.

Dr. ███████: What did you do when SCP-XXXX began running around the garage where you'd left it?
Person: What do you think I did? I freaked the fuck out! Pardon my French Doc. When I saw that, that….thing running around with blood spraying everywhere, I immediately turned around and ran back to the lodge. I called my supervisor, and you guys came and took that beast away. I never want to see that thing again.

<End Log>

Closing Statement:After interviewing Agent ██████, I have concluded that SCP-XXXX has regenerative capabilities. I suggest we further experiment with SCP-XXXX to see its full capabilities. When Agent ██████ soon discovered that the deer was indeed alive, he immediately called his supervisor, and the foundation recovered SCP-XXXX shortly after.

Addendum: A total of ██ tests were conducted on SCP-XXXX. These tests revealed, that SCP-XXXX does not need food, nor water. Even though SCP-XXXX does not need food or water, in order to keep the subject under control and have it remain docile, it must constantly be fed. Several other experiments with the use of amnesiacs, gave the conclusion that SCP-XXXX can regenerate Its exterior parts, while it can not reproduce major vital organs. It has also been concluded that every time SCP-XXXX has major trauma inflicted on itself, it regenerates a little less every time. Testing has been canceled to because of this. See block for more information.
