A Handbag
Item #: SCP-MF1
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-MF1 is to be kept in a locked storage box, and must not be handled directly, even with thick gloves. (Needs more detail, search for other small SCPs with a touch effect for reference)
Description: SCP-MF1 is a large beige handbag with no visible decorative features. The bag itself is made from a heavy cotton material, with a polyester lining, and the handles are made from plastic.
Upon visual inspection, subjects tend to agree that SCP-MF1 is an extremely ugly handbag.
Upon physical contact with SCP-MF1, even through several layers of thick clothing, subjects describe the item as an expensive, exceptionally well-made, attractive bag. A designer label is often described. They also display a strong conviction that the bag in question belongs to them. Subjects will act increasingly aggressively in order to gain and retain possession of SCP-MF1.
The perception effect is limited to direct observation of SCP-MF1. Subjects viewing a photograph of the SCP will continue to see it in its natural beige "ugly" form, and will express surprise when shown photographs of themselves holding SCP-MF1.
The conviction is lasting; even when the SCP is removed from the subject, they will remain convinced that they possess an expensive designer handbag which the researchers have stolen from them. Following incident MF1-1, any subjects physically exposed to SCP-MF1 must either be terminated or provided with a class (?) amnesiac.
Addendum: Testing carried out with non-violent subjects indicates that SCP-MF1 may increase violent tendencies in affected subjects to a varied degree. Subjects initially assessed as non-violent are slower to take aggressive actions to obtain possession of SCP-MF1 than individuals with existing violent tendencies, but are equally likely to take aggressive action to retain possession once it has been gained.
Extended testing shows that affected subjects who are allowed to retain possession of SCP-MF1 display a progressive change to behaviour, whereby their actions become increasingly likely to initiate an exchange of possession; the subject will carry SCP-MF1 with them when a bag is unnecessary and in situations where they have previously shown no inclination to carry a bag, and will frequent increasingly populated locations.
- possible test log including tests with different layers of clothing between subject and SCP, extended testing with agoraphobic subject suddenly able to happily walk into crowded areas with the bag.

A Pin
Item #: SCP-MF2
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Keep it in a box and don't look at it. For extra safety, don't allow any mirrors or reflective surfaces nearby.
Description: SCP-MF2 is an iron pin approximately 5cm in length. Its effect is variable.
Subjects with a high resistance to psychic effects may observe SCP-MF2 safely, reporting no especial desire to pick up or otherwise interact with the object.
Upon direct physical contact with SCP-MF2, these subjects report a vague sense of other people, generally described as being "like suddenly remembering a friend". The subject is able to describe the person remembered, but in most cases is unable to identify them as anyone actually known to them. No further effects are reported by these subjects.
Subjects with a low resistance to psychic effects report an unusual desire to touch and pick up SCP-MF2. When in close proximity to or in contact with SCP-MF2, they report flashes of memories which they are aware do not belong to them. They are often able to identify the source of the memory, even when the person in question is unknown to them. The memories reported are often described as being "teasing" - they often appear to be preludes to historically important or exciting events.
Susceptible subjects holding SCP-MF2 will report that they "know exactly what to do" with it. They will seek a mirror or reflective surface, and carefully insert the pin into the pupil of their eye. Once fully inserted, SCP-MF2 then moves slowly into the brain. The subject will experience the full memories of all previous subjects and will be able to access them as easily as their own for approximately one hour, at which point death occurs.
SCP-MF2 then moves back through the brain and out through the eye. This process also takes approximately one hour. The method of locomotion is as yet unknown.
Alt idea: It arrived in a box with instructions, and a list of names and dates. There are several recognisable historical figures included, and the date in each case corresponds with their death. As before, it works by sticking it directly into your pupil and kills you fairly shortly afterwards, perhaps simply as a brain overload thing rather than actually burrowing through the brain, but in the meantime you get access to all these fascinating memories and all their knowledge.
Pin Idea 3
An Eye For An Eye.
Subject 1 inserts the pin directly into the pupil of their eye. They look at subject 2, then remove the pin from their eye, with the obvious resultant damage.
Within 1 week, Subject 2 is permanently blind in one eye, and Subject 1's eye has regenerated.
Experiments on a subject 1 terminated directly after regeneration indicate the presence of Subject 2's DNA in the regenerated eye. (Can you test eyes for DNA? I hope so.)
Experiments where Subject 1 blinds Subject 2, then after regeneration Subject 2 inserts the pin into their blinded eye and looks at Subject 1, have resulted in the regeneration of Subject 2's previously blinded eye.
If the pin is not inserted or removed cleanly (due to the subject's hand shaking) then their eye may not regenerate completely.

A Stopped Clock
Item #: SCP-MF3
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Put it in a box and don't look at it at between 3 and 4 local time.
Description: SCP-MF3 is a white plastic analogue clock with the numbers 1-12 printed in black. The hour and minute hands are stopped at 3:33. There is no second hand.
SCP-MF3 may be safely observed with no ill effects at any time other than 3:33.
If a subject looks directly at SCP-MF3 at 3:33 local time, whether AM or PM, they will apparently disappear as soon as local time moves on to 3:34.
The next time local time reaches 3:33 the subject will reappear again for one minute, in precisely the same location and position they were last seen. They will react and interact normally, and will be unaware of the intervening 11 hours and 59 minutes.
[Alt - The next time local time reaches 3:33 the subject will reappear again for one minute and will precisely repeat the actions taken in the original test minute, prior to, including and after the moment in which they observed SCP-MF3. They are physically present and may be touched but will not react to or interact with present observers.
If prevented from carrying out their original actions, the subject will disappear instantly and will not reappear on any subsequent occasions.
- Possible test log of the researchers setting up two Class Ds to observe the SCP from the precise same location to see what happens if they reappear at once in the same place. Also perhaps testing with adjusted summer time?]
