Item #: SCP-XXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP- XXX is to be kept in a 4x4x3 steel room with a basic plug. A large door is needed only for the case of moving SCP- XXX to a different containment site. The door is to be kept locked except during testing, with guards posted to detain anyone trying to get inside for non-testing purposes. Maintenance workers are also allowed entry with Level 2 Clearance.
Description: SCP- XXX is a large, standard basement freezer of the ████████ make, with slight damage to the lid. Items can be stored in it as usual, however whenever someone opens it, one of two things will happen. If the subject opening SCP- XXX has a specific food item in mind, it will already be filled with a variety of food, not including what the subject wanted. If the subject opens the freezer without wanting anything in particular, the inside will [DATA EXPUNGED]. The first time this happened led to █ deaths and the freezer lid getting stuck for ██ days. This may be caused from SCP- XXX attempting to fill itself with nothing, causing a [DATA EXPUNGED].
The outside of SCP-461 is not impervious to damage, excluding when it [DATA EXPUNGED], it relies on a standard power source, and has the regular weight of it’s kind. It’s only other known ability is that every █ days it goes unopened, it will displace itself, switching with a random freezer within two kilometers. This may be avoided by sending a new D-Class in every couple days for some item or another, however if forgotten, an alert must be put out, and no frozen food is to be requested or searched for until SCP- XXX is found.
Other foods may be taken out of the freezer, and no side-effects have been observed from consumption. However the meat labeled SCP- XXX -02 is to be left alone, as testing has proved inconclusive as to what it is as of yet.
Addendum 1: It’s been discovered that testers may indirectly get what they want by telling the Subject to retrieve from the freezer, “Anything but __”. This however has a chance of failing if the Subject has participated in a previous test, as they may realize what’s going on leading to SCP- XXX starting to [DATA EXPUNGED].
