Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are to be both kept in a 10x10m container at all time with no visual contact possible with any living being from within the container. One Class-D personnel must be sent monthly into the container and must make visual contact with SCP-XXXX, and then afterwards will be complied to perform maintenance on the sole camera set inside of the container.
In case of a refusal from the Class-D personnel to make eye contact, the personnel is to be euthanized and replaced immediately. The replacement personnel must make eye-contact with SCP-XXXX as well. The same personnel may not be sent twice into the container, and after visual contact and maintenance of the camera, personnel is to be sent to ██████ until they expire from [DATA EXPUNGED].
If non-Class-D personnel is to step into the container, they must wear thermal optics at all times until they exit and seal the container. Failure to wear the required optics will result in termination.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid life form of unknown origin first encountered at [DATA EXPUNGED]. As of now, only two specimens have been found, named SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 respectively. Reports show that they seem to have a somewhat amicable behavior and show intelligence, along with a complex dialect comparable to that of a human's, however, their dialect share no direct relation with any known dialect and thus remains impossible to translate as of now.
They seem to have a human-like shape, along with a huge overgrowth of skin everywhere on their bodies. Since the capture of the speciments in 19██, signs of ageing can be observed at an unusual rate; some of their skin grow old to be replaced by layers of younger skin.
Individuals who have made visual contact with an SCP-XXXX life form are effected by the SCP-XXXX-A state; the subject's skin begins to liquefy for unknown reasons within thirty days at a constant rate, leaving the subject much more exposed to diseases and bacterias. Most infected personnel will then expire in the following days due to the various infections and diseases that their bodies will now be exposed to. So far, no "cure" to SCP-XXXX-A has been found.

Whenever the effects of skin loss takes into place, it seems that SCP-XXXX will gain additional layers of skin. It has been suggested that the skin lost from the victims of SCP-XXXX-A would have somewhat been transferred onto the specimens, but due to the impossibility to proceed a DNA test of the skin without risk of triggering an aggressive reaction from SCP-XXXX, this can not be confirmed yet.
So far, seeing a SCP-XXXX life form through electronics such as thermal optics as proven to be safe and will not cause SCP-XXXX-A to be triggered.
Due to risk of heavy personnel loss prior to the events of ███████ ████, one Class-D personnel is to be sent monthly to avoid heavy causalities. (See Addendum-A)
Addendum-A: To avoid the loss of personnel, it has been attempted not to allow anyone to come within eye contact of SCP-XXXX. After a month without eye contact, multiple personnel began to die from [DATA EXPUNGED] within hours from each other. It has been observed that SCP-XXXX life forms will shriek in pain and enter a high-stress mental state during the course of these events. Visual contact with at least one individual per month seems to prevent these events along with the sudden changes of behaviors.
It has been requested that SCP-XXXX will be terminated for the personnel's safety, but O5-█ objected, wishing to study the subject more.
Addendum-B: Individuals under the effect of SCP-XXXX have attempted to use SCP-500 to cure the state, without success. This leads to think that SCP-XXXX-A is not a disease.
