The Bodybag

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a 1 m x 1 m x 2 m hermetically sealed metal box. SCP-XXXX is to be retained inside this box at all times unless for testing purposes. Research personnel must wear fire and heat resistant clothing at all times when studying SCP-XXXX

Description: SCP-XXXX is a closed grey body bag seemingly containing a deceased body. Upon opening the body bag a blazing heat of up to 600 degrees Celsius escapes from the opening after which the body bag quickly deflates. The bag itself is not damaged by this heat even tough it is made from simple plastic. If left open SCP-XXXX will slowly close itself again and inflate to take its original shape, giving the impression of containing a dead person.

Extensive X-Ray scans and MRIs revealed that SCP-XXXX does contain a human body when closed. It can be deducted from the body's bone structure to be a human male in his late 50s. MRI also revealed strong burns on the person's skin. When scanned in an open state, SCP-XXXX shows no traces of said body, nor traces of ever having held a body.

Addendum: SCP-XXXX was recovered from ███████ Morgue in █████, ████████████.
