Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: All affiliates within SCP-XXXX are to be kept within proximity of each other on a secluded playground or a strip of land, disclosed to the public on Site-██. SCP-XXXX are to be provided with basic recreational equipment such as a wide range of inflatable balls and plastic tennis rackets. Under no event should SCP-XXXX be given objects which could be considered particularly deadly such as heavy metallic objects. SCP-XXXX should be fitted with recreational equipment at all times and should be observed by at least two members of staff at any given time to avoid serious incidents and distress. SCP-XXXX currently shows no desire of leaving the playground and are contempt to stay contained as long as they are not desisted by personnel or harmed with weaponry.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collective group of semi-sentient human beings, (hereafter referred to as "the affiliates") engaged in constant recreational activity with each other. SCP-XXXX refuse to function unless brought to a local playground, preferably abandoned. The group also refuse to operate unless all four members are involved in the activity. In the unlikely event that at least one affiliate is removed from general proximity of the remaining associates of SCP-XXXX by force, all affiliates will simultaneously emit a high frequency shrieking sound, as well as [DATA EXPUNGED] - labelled "Attack Mode". The affiliates will only resume leisurely activities - labelled accordingly as "Stable Mode" - as soon as the missing affiliate is returned. Beings who attempt to desist SCP-XXXX will feel strong psychological feelings against the action and will deny cooperation in most cases. SCP-XXXX is composed of four beings, labelled numerically. Each affiliate within SCP-XXXX currently refuses to eat, sleep or drink simply to avoid detraction from the group. Despite this, no affiliates show any signs of fatigue, hunger or thirst. Whether SCP-XXXX are indestructible is currently undetermined as no tests have been currently engaged.
SCP-XXXX are aged approximately between 14 and 18, with varying levels of physical maturity - even though all affiliates have the same high level of strength. When a subject is within the vicinity of SCP-XXXX, the group will disregard the subject until in direct line of sight. Even before direct contact is made with SCP-XXXX, the subject has reported feeling "rejected" and "alone". As the subject remains in proximity of SCP-XXXX, the desire to befriend the affiliates of SCP-XXXX grows increasingly stronger. When contact is made between the subject and the affiliates, the affiliates will immediately cease all activity and brutally attack the subject with unrelenting strength, typically terminating the subject within 9-12 seconds of constant assailment - before resuming their activities as per usual. If a human being survives the attack by leaving the proximity of SCP-XXXX, the subject will feel strongly suicidal. This is coupled with a sense of indefinite fecklessness until eventually the subject will [DATA EXPUNGED]. Subjects particularly prone to the anomalous effect are between the ages of 13-19. Any subjects above or below the range have shown little to no signs of depression or anxiety and will ignore the activity of SCP-XXXX if left to their own devices. SCP-XXXX are always observed innocently laughing and conversing when not in distress, although the language heard from SCP-XXXX is unidentifiable. SCP-XXXX refuses to converse with personnel under any means necessary and it is strongly advised not to persist.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: No previous or subsequent occurrences of SCP-XXXX have taken place since the original phenomenon. As a result, containment is impossible as SCP-XXXX does not have an apparent manifestation in a physical entity.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a single anomalous occurrence which was reported to have taken place on the date of █/██/9█ in ████████. The phenomenon of SCP-XXXX happened instantaneously and showed no prior inference of danger. A crowd of nearly two hundred and fifty civilians were victims of SCP-XXXX and an explanation of this occurrence is unknown. Predicting further appearances of SCP-XXXX have proven futile as it has been proposed as an arbitrary occurrence.
On █/██/9█ in ████████, a crowd of nearly two hundred and fifty civilians became suddenly inanimate for approximately ██ seconds, simultaneously emitting a repeated phrase unrecognised in any spoken language. Shortly after this period, the crowd continued animatedly as per usual, resuming conversations and [DATA EXPUNGED]. Anomalous effects manifesting in victims of SCP-XXXX had actualized █ weeks later, as with recollection of the event. All mobile phone conversations during the phenomenon had been immediately terminated by unexplained means directly correlated to SCP-XXXX. This occurrence was witnessed and recorded by two somehow unaffected citizens of which "got the whole thing on tape". Further detailed questioning and analysis has been administered to the two witnesses and amnesiacs will be utilized shortly afterwards.
Addendum XXXX-01:
█ weeks after the occurrence of SCP-XXXX, several concerned family members of inflicted subjects have reported victims to have started sleepwalking, [DATA EXPUNGED] as well as a large number of victims speaking about identical occurrences that have never actually been witnessed or recorded in any relevant time period - from unexplained disappearances to things on a much larger scale such as graphic detail regarding mass homicide. Several identified victims have been taken into psychiatric care, assisting tests engaged for research. The families of the victims have been told that the subjects have been taken into care and will remain in said state for up to four weeks. After victims have been sent into psychiatric care for recovery, victims are administered Class B amnesiacs, as with their close family members. Prior to the admission of amnesiacs, victims have been said to regain stability to some degree, although acting vaguely distant while in conversation.
Test Log:
Victims have been identified as SCP-XXXX-A-01 through to SCP-XXXX-A-04.
Dr. ███████: . Could I ask you a few questions?
SCP-XXXX-A-01: <Incoherent mumbling>
Dr. ███████: I cannot understand you. Speak louder.
SCP-XXXX-A-01: We have been abandoned.
Dr. ███████: Who has abandoned us?
SCP-XXXX-A-01: He.
SCP-XXXX-A-01 refuses to speak for the remaining duration of the interview. SCP-XXXX-A-01 stays silent for three hours.
Dr. ███████: What happened on █/██/9█?
SCP-XXXX-A-02: I finally woke up, that's what happened.
Dr. ███████: That doesn't mean anything to me. Please explain yourself.
SCP-XXXX-A-02: Everything is clear to me now.
Dr. ███████: I don't understand. Tell me what that means.
SCP-XXXX-A-02: It means that we are not alone.
Dr. ███████: Tell me, what happened on █/██/9█?
SCP-XXXX-A-03: Everything became clear to us. It was weeks later.
Dr. ███████: What became clear to you? Explain yourself.
SCP-XXXX-A-03: You must understand - we live in one world of many.
Dr. ███████: That is too vague to document. What are you referring to? What did you see?
SCP-XXXX-A-03 appears to become suddenly agitated.
SCP-XXXX-A-03: I don't know what is real any more…I've seen things that make me doubt my existence.
SCP-XXXX-A-03 refuses to speak for the remaining during of the interview. SCP-XXXX-A-03 remains seated and utters an unidentified phrase for approximately seven hours, hastily recorded by staff members for research purposes.
SCP-XXXX-A-04 has been interviewed after his psychiatric treatment and therefore speaks much more apprehensively than the previous test subjects.
Dr. ███████: Do you remember anything that happened?
SCP-XXXX-A-04: I couldn't move…got frightened. Saw a very bright light.
Dr. ███████: Do you remember how long this lasted?
SCP-XXXX-A-04: I couldn't remember anything until I saw the footage you all showed me.
Dr. ███████: Do you remember speaking about anything unusual before your therapy?
SCP-XXXX-A-04: People told me to stop making up unusual stories, but I didn't pay attention to them because I didn't remember doing it. I don't remember much any more. Not after I've been here.
Dr. ███████: Please try to explain what happened on █/██/9█.
SCP-XXXX-A-05: It wasn't good.
Dr. ███████: What was not good? Speak up.
SCP-XXXX-A-05: The end was not fruitful.
Dr. ███████: Do not test me. What was the end? Explain yourself.
SCP-XXXX-A-05 widens his eyes and smiles, engaging in direct eye contact with Dr. ███████. For the remainder of the interview, the test subject speaks in a much more aggressive yet comprehensible tone.
SCP-XXXX-A-05: I have seen you die. I have seen your children suffer. I have seen myself perish.
Dr. ███████: None of those things have happened, metaphysically speaking.
SCP-XXXX-A-05: I have seen it happen before me. But not in this universe. Not today.
As a result of the interview engaged with SCP-XXXX-A-05, there is reason to believe that victims of SCP-XXXX have experienced sightings of occurrences that may or may not have yet to happen, or have already happened in an alternate realm of existance. Further testing will be engaged shortly.
